Does using a CORE rechargeable battery affect lighting performance?

Yes, a lamp's lighting performance changes when you switch from standard to rechargeable batteries.

The main difference is in lighting stability.

For example, with a TIKKA PLUS 2 at t = 0, you get 70-lumen lighting with standard batteries, and 50-lumen lighting with a CORE rechargeable battery.

However, after a half-hour of use, the performance of standard batteries drops below that of rechargeable batteries.

The loss-of-charge curve of standard batteries is constant, but rechargeable battery performance remains unchanged longer.
