ASAP LOCK and ASAP used for fall arrest during rope access work

It is common to switch from a rope access situation (progression on a two-rope system) to a fall arrest situation (progression on a structure with a mobile fall arrest device on a safety rope).

Utilisation d'ASAP et ASAP LOCK lors d'un chantier cordiste.

The EN 12841 standard, which covers rope access usage with two ropes, does not address this situation.

ASAP and ASAP LOCK can be used for this purpose, with the same equipment configurations as those certified to EN 12841 (especially ASAP’SORBER 20, 40 or AXESS, EN1891 type A ropes tied to the anchor), following all of the usage precautions described in the Instructions for Use for these products.
