Two methods allow rapid rope ascent to precisely position yourself at the workstation.
On the 2019 I’D S and the 2019 I’D L, the rope can be taken up without operating the handle.
On the pre-2019 I’D S and pre-2019 I’D L, the handle must be in position E (belaying).
