How to Make a Warranty Claim
Purchasers of Products who wish to make a warranty claim based upon a Product defect should contact After-Sales Service by submitting the online form here or by emailing Aftersales_US@petzl.com (for United States customers) or Aftersales_CA@petzl.com (for Canadian customers). You will be asked to provide information regarding your Product, where and when you purchased your Product, and the issue you are having with the Product. You may be required to submit photographs of your Product and/or a copy of your proof of purchase.
If Product defects occur within the Limited Warranty Period, we will, at our sole discretion, either replace or repair the Product. In the event that a Product, which is identical in every respect to the Product originally purchased, is no longer available in our product line, we are entitled to replace the Product with one that, in our sole discretion, is technically and functionally equivalent to the defective Product. In the event the Product is part of a set, we are obligated only to replace or repair the defective component, and not the whole set (unless we determine in our discretion that such replacement or repair is necessary to satisfy our Limited Warranty). If the Product is not covered by this Limited Warranty but is repairable, a repair quote will be proposed before repair. You will not be billed without your consent.
You are responsible for returning the Product to Petzl at your own cost. You agree to pack the Product that you are returning in a careful manner to protect against damage, freight prepaid, together with all accessories and any packaging, as may be applicable. ALKALINE batteries must be removed before returning headlamps. After-Sales Service will provide a Return Authorization Number (RA) and the address to which you should return the Product. The RA must be legible and prominently displayed on the outside of the shipping carton. Products returned without a valid RA may be refused by Petzl.
