Using the EVOLV ADJUST lanyard
The EVOLV ADJUST is a double lanyard with adjustable positioning devices to assist progression in aid climbing.

EVOLV ADJUST › 2025
The EVOLV ADJUST is personal protective equipment. It meets the standard, EN 17520 : 2021 - Personal belay lanyard.
- When used for progression in aid climbing, it must be used in combination with another means of belaying.
- When used at the belay station, it can be used without another means of belaying.
EVOLV ADJUST ‹ 2025
The pre-2025 EVOLV ADJUST is not personal protective equipment. Its static strength is less than the 15 kN required by the UIAA (the only lanyard standard before 2025), which makes it ineligible for CE certification. So the pre-2025 EVOLV ADJUST must never be used on its own without another means of belaying, during progression as well as when the climber is at the belay station.
