Designed for long subterranean explorations, the CAVING LINE is a low stretch cord, 7 mm in diameter. Extremely compact and lightweight (32 g/m), it is easy to store in a pack. EverFlex treatment allows it to maintain flexibility over time. The sheath texture gives it good grip when descending and its construction provides excellent abrasion resistance. Scraps of CAVING LINE cord are minimum 10 meters in length, for a total of about 200 meters. They are delivered in bulk in a cardboard box.

Description

Ultra-compact cord with good grip:
- Ultra-compact and ultra-lightweight to make your kit less bulky during long explorations
- Thick, textured sheath offers good grip
- Excellent balance of low stretch and elasticity for efficient ascents
- Compatible with SIMPLE (D004AA00) and STOP (D009AA00) caving descenders when used with a FREINO Z; with CROLL S, BASIC, and PANTIN ascenders; and with MICRO TRAXION and NANO TRAXION progress-capture pulleys (1)
Remains flexible over time:
- EverFlex treatment: special treatment and weave improve the rope’s consistency; offers good grip and consistent handling over time
- Easy to store in the pack because the cord does not stiffen
- Flexible cord makes it easier to tie and untie knots
Optimal strength-to-weight ratio:
- Very lightweight (32 g/m)
- Hybrid polyester and high-modulus polyethylene (HMPE) sheath construction offers good grip and great abrasion resistance
Product is delivered in bulk in a cardboard box and comes in pieces that are minimum 10 meters in length (lengths vary and depend on what is left over during production) and make up a total of about 200 meters
