Pro purchase program - Petzl USA


The focus of this program is to support professional users and retail store employees who spend a significant amount of time around Petzl products, either outside or in a retail store environment. Through this program, Petzl hopes to build a positive and authentic referral network from people who use, trust, and enjoy our products in the field.

To qualify for the PETZL Pro Purchase Program, an individual should reside in the US, and fit one of the following categories:

  • Employee at an authorized Petzl retail store
  • Professional in the Outdoor, Ski, or Hunt/Fish industry
  • Use Petzl Sport products as a part of daily, paid, work requirements such as a guide, climbing gym employee, backcountry ranger, SAR professional, etc.


Membership in this program is a privilege and should be respected and used with discretion. Abuse of any of the following policies is grounds for removal from the program. Petzl reserves the right to change these policies at any time without notification. These policies can be referenced at at any time.

  • Accounts are for personal use only. Purchases for family, friends, climbing partners, guided clients, or for resale/rental is prohibited. For inquiries regarding group purchases for your guiding company please email for more information.
  • Membership must be renewed annually based on your active work status -- an email requesting current credentials will be sent out approximately 30 days prior to annual account expiration.
  • Please respect the time and inventory of Petzl retailers -- if you have questions about products, please use as a resource, or contact Petzl Pro Purchases at 801.926.1536 or email with your questions -- we are more than happy to assist you in finding the right product.
  • Orders may not be edited once placed -- in an effort to provide excellent customer service and a quick turnaround, we cannot accept changes to any orders once they have been placed.
  • At this time, expedited shipping is unavailable on Pro Purchases so please plan your purchases accordingly.
  • Please do not attempt to return your purchases. Petzl does not accept returns on Pro Purchases with the rare exception of mis-shipped products -- to ensure you are ordering the correct product/size, feel free to use the Petzl website as a resource or contact the Pro Purchase Team for assistance.
  • All out-of-stock and backordered items will be canceled. If an item on your order is canceled, you will be notified of the cancellation and refunded promptly. The rest of your order will ship as normal.
