WELCOME TO THE PETZL PRO PURCHASE PROGRAM!

Note that the Petzl Canadian Pro Purchase Program follows the same guidelines but is managed through our partner, Outdoor Prolink Canada.

SPORT DIVISION - Outdoor Retail, Mountain Guides, Climbing Gyms, Outdoor Industry Sales Reps, and outdoor industry members and brands:

The focus of this program is to support a select group of professional users and retail store employees who spend a significant amount of time around Petzl products, either outdoors or in a retail store environment. Through this program, Petzl hopes to build a positive and authentic referral network from people who use and trust our products in the field.

 

PROFESSIONAL DIVISION - Search & Rescue, Ski Patrol, Avalanche Professionals

Petzl supports mountain professionals and volunteers who use and trust our equipment in search & rescue, ski patrol, and elsewhere.  The goal of this program is to support these individuals in their work, typically on a volunteer basis and purchasing their own equipment, as they endeavor to make the outdoors and mountains safer and more enjoyable for the public.

DO I QUALIFY?

To qualify for the PETZL Pro Purchase Program, an individual should reside in the US, and fit one of the following categories.

SPORT DIVISION

  • employee at an authorized Petzl retail partner (renewal every 6 months)
  • employees of climbing gyms (renewal every 6 months)
  • mountain guides with AMGA or ACMG certifications or proof of enrollment and participation in an AMGA or ACMG course (renewal every 12 months)
  • employees of other Outdoor brands that are members of the OIA, SIA, Ski, Hunting or Fishing industry product manufacturers (renewal every 12 months)
  • independent Sales Representatives in the Outdoor industry (renewal every 12 months)
  • local Utah businesses in fields related to Petzl that offer reciprocal discounts for Petzl America employees (renewal every 12 months) 

PROFESSIONAL DIVISION

  • volunteers or professional Search & Rescue team members
  • volunteers or professional on-mountain Ski Patrol team members or lift maintenance staff
  • volunteers or professional Avalanche forecasting and mitigation professionals
  • employee at an authorized Petzl retail partner

    (renewal every 12 months)

NOTE: pro deal is equipment for personal use only.  Any SAR team or Ski Area / Ski Patrol organization wishing to open an account, for team or group purchases, may contact professionalsales@petzl.com for options and support.

PROGRAM GUIDELINES:

Membership in this program is a privilege and should be respected and used with discretion. Abuse of any of the following policies is grounds for removal from the program for the individual. Petzl reserves the right to change these policies at any time without notification. These policies can be referenced at www.petzl.com/pro-purchase at any time.

  • Accounts are for personal use only and are unique to each individual. Purchases for family, friends, climbing partners, guided clients, or for resale/rental is prohibited.
  • For inquiries regarding group purchases for your guiding company, climbing gym, SAR team, ski patrol, or similar collective, please email prodeal@petzl.com for more information.
  • Membership must be renewed semi-annual or annual basis as listed above, based on your active work status
  • Please respect the time and inventory of Petzl retailers -- if you have questions about products, use www.petzl.com as a resource, or contact the Petzl’s Pro Purchase Team at prodeal@petzl.com with your questions -- we are more than happy to assist you in selecting the right products for your needs.
  • Orders may not be edited once placed, due to our efforts to provide quick order processing and prompt shipping
  • Expedited shipping (ie. next or 2nd day air) is unavailable on Pro Purchases so please plan your purchases accordingly
  • Please do not attempt to return your purchases. Petzl does not accept returns on Pro Purchases, with the rare exception of a mis-shipped product.  To ensure you are ordering the correct product/size, feel free to use the Petzl website as a resource or contact the Pro Purchase Team for assistance.
  • Any out-of-stock item will not be allowed on an order. If an item on your order is unexpectedly unavailable and canceled, you will be notified of the cancellation and a refund will be processed before the actual credit card charge is complete. The balance of your order will ship as normal.
