The SPIN L1D consists of a faceted sheave mounted on a single-direction ratcheting wheel, offering a high-efficiency hauling pulley, and adding friction for a more controlled descent. In this video, Nate, from Petzl Technical Institute in Salt Lake City, explains how to correctly use this new directional pulley.
