Video – Assisting the Second on a Multi-Pitch Route
On a multi-pitch route, if the second climber is stuck and unable to continue climbing on their own, the leader must find a way to haul them (for example, after a fall below an overhang or if the climbing is too difficult). In this Tech Tip, we show you a quick hauling method that is easy to set up but has low efficiency, as well as a more advanced method for greater hauling efficiency.
