Optimizing the potential fall distance
If the user is not attentive to the ASAP’s position while climbing (e.g, climbing a ladder), the potential fall distance with the ASAP’SORBER 20 is 80 cm maximum, versus 120 cm with the ASAP’SORBER 40. This maximum potential fall distance is the sum of the length of the ASAP’SORBER and its two connectors, multiplied by two in the event the ASAP is in the lowest possible position.
Note: be sure to keep the ASAP as high as possible to minimize the potential fall distance.
