The VIZEN face shield protects against electric arc hazards. This full-coverage shield offers face and eye protection while preserving peripheral vision. Petzl VIZEN FAQ
Unfortunately, Petzl does not authorize installation of a VIZEN protective shield onto a VERTEX helmet manufactured before 2011, as this shield was neither designed nor certified for this generation of helmets. In fact, the shield is not the right size, and there is no supporting surface for the head of the screw inside the helmet.
