Combining bouldering and trad climbing

The following fall, the Petzl RocTrip crosses the Atlantic to the historical Shawangunks site, near New York city. Here again the goal is to raise funds for expenses linked to protecting climber access. The Shawangunks offer a terrain that is quite different from that of the previous events. It is both a bouldering and a trad climbing site.
In spite of the weather, the event takes place with a large number of participants. Steve McClure wins the route + boulder rally.
The first screening of Josh Lowell's cult film, Pilgrimage, with Chris Sharma, happens during this Petzl RocTrip.
