Remember that the stitching in the webbing of the LADDER CLIMB attachment point strap is calibrated to begin tearing at 3 kN.

In a rescue technique training context, it is preferable to use the sternal (or dorsal) point on the VOLT harness. This will prevent any accidental tearing of the stitching in the webbing of the LADDER CLIMB attachment point.

However, in a real rescue situation, the LADDER CLIMB point may be used. In this case, be sure to inspect the stitching on the LADDER CLIMB attachment point after the rescue operation.

For rescue use, it is preferable to connect to the sternal or dorsal point on the harness.
