There is a risk of preventing energy absorber deployment in a fall.

With a Y-lanyard attached to the dorsal point, if the user passes the lanyard legs under their arms to use the connectors in front of him, they may find themselves in a position that prevents the energy absorber from functioning.

Note: this can also happen if the lanyard is connected to the harness sternal point and used behind the user.
