Os by Petzl: Why is the ECONOMIC level in constant mode limited to 12.5 %, 20 % or 25 %?

The TIKKA 2-ZIPKA 2 headlamps were developed with an ECONOMIC level programmed to limit the overall energy consumption in order to extend the overall burn times.
The ECO level is different for each lamp. To guarantee optimal functioning, the ECONOMIC levels are thus limited to the following values:
  • TIKKINA 2: 20 %
  • TIKKA 2 & ZIPKA 2: 25 %

  • TIKKA PLUS 2, ZIPKA PLUS 2 & TIKKA XP 2: 12,5 %

Note: with the CORE rechargeable battery, it is possible for the MAX level brightness to be lower than the ECO level. For example, if you set the MAX level of your TIKKA 2 to 15 % and the ECO level to 25 %, the MAX brightness level will be less than the ECO level.
