Os by Petzl / NAO: How do I create my own profile? What settings can I change for my profile?

To create a personal profile, you must select a Petzl profile from which you want to customize your own. Click on the Petzl profile, the profile information window appears, then click on "Create new profile from this one".


In the "New profile" window, you can:

- Rename your profile.

- Give a description of your profile.

- Choose a picture for your profile from our image library.

- Define the number of levels in Reactive Lighting mode (from 1 to 5).

- Define the number of levels in constant mode (from 1 to 5).


Then, by clicking on "Customize my profile", you can adjust different settings by the chosen tab (Reactive lighting mode, constant mode, other parameters).


In the "Reactive Lighting mode" tab, you can adjust the following settings for each level:

- Power percentage of wide beam.

- Power percentage of focused beam.

- Reading threshold.


Changes to these performance settings, made via the cursors on the right, are calculated and displayed on the left.
In the "constant Mode" tab, you can adjust the following settings for each level:

- Power percentage of wide beam.

- Power percentage of focused beam.


Changes to these performance settings, made via the cursors on the right, are calculated and displayed on the left.
There is a "test" button that allows real-time demonstration of the light.
In the "Other parameters" tab, you can adjust the following settings:

- ON > Following levels > OFF or ON > OFF after 8 seconds.

- The time required to switch from Reactive Lighting to Constant mode, and vice-versa (adjustable from 0.5 seconds to 5 seconds).

- The time required to switch to profile change (adjustable from 6 seconds to 15 seconds).
