This year the arborist championship took place on June 12 and 13 in Prague, Czech Republic. The event was organized by the European Arborist Committee, in collaboration with the Czech subsidiary of ISA (International Society of Arboriculture).

The International Tree Climbing Championship (ITCC), which took place July 24 & 25 in Providence, Rhode Island, attracts the very best tree climbers from around the world to compete in a series of events meant to test arborists' skills and abilities.
