Date: Tuesday, September 15, 2009
Location: Petzl America Drop Testing and Training Facility - Clearfield, Utah

This one-day workshop has been scheduled to coincide with the AWEA H&S meeting that will be held at Snowbird, Utah on Sept 16-17. Attendees are invited to arrive one day early to participate in this training opportunity. This workshop is not part of the AWEA H&S meeting.

Description: The workshop will focus on confined space entry regulations, practical work procedures as well as rescue intervention techniques as it pertains to the wind energy industry. Participants will have the opportunity to practice hands-on rope access and confined space work procedures. Petzl America and Rope Partner are active members of AWEA who both have the experience and knowledge to introduce EHS Professionals to innovative entry & work concepts in wind turbines. This event will also be a great forum for safety officials and technicians to network and share different ideas about safe work practices.

Registration: Contact Michel Goulet for registration information. The workshop is limited to the first 24 registrants with a maximum of two representatives per company/organization.
