Petzl America is currently offering hands-on workshops designed to address the needs of professional sales and customer service representatives, specialized trainers, safety specialists and work-at-height and rescue consultants.

In these workshops, participants will gain a better understanding of rope-based system solutions and equipment performance, as well as manufacturing processes and quality controls.

Held at the Petzl America facilities, located in Clearfield, Utah, just outside of Salt Lake City, these sessions are lead by top product specialists and industry-leading trainers and field experts.

Mountain rescue: video from the IKAR CISA 2011 Conference

  The international IKAR-CISA conference took place at the end of October in Are, Sweden. Every year this international event brings together mountain rescue teams from all over the world. The goal of the conference is to share experiences as well as different techniques and equipment in order to improve both efficiency and safety for mountain rescue operations.
