V.axess, the Petzl Institute, hosts French Rope Access ChampionshipsSaturday, 19 March 2011 – since the very first hour the hall of V.axess is alive with the sound of carabiners, descenders and ascenders. In this building, Petzl welcomes the first "Championnat de France des Cordistes" (French rope access championships) organized by the Syndicat Français des Entreprises de Travaux en Hauteur (SFETH, French rope access union).
Garrett Smith: A Purposeful LifePetzl is very saddened to announce the passing of our good friend and colleague, Garrett Smith, who died as a result of injuries sustained in an avalanche in the Utah backcountry on Saturday, March 26th. Garrett worked at Petzl America as a Senior Customer Sales and Support representative, specializing in the Professional and International markets. He was a part of all of our lives and he always brought plentiful and positive energy to the office with him.
