Of note were Ice Climbing Ecrins in the Hautes-Alpes region of France, the Ouray Ice Festival and its Elite Mixed Comp in Colorado, the Ice Climbing World Cup in South Korea, and the Youth World Championships in Saas Grund, Swizterland.
