Sorry for the late answer, we asked directly Jared and here is his answer that just came in :
"On a typical work day I will use hand ascender and footlock, or if its a big tree I will throw in a PANTIN and a foot loop and use a frog system. As for working in the tree I use a RIG on a single line. I will use the RIG to descend and ascend throughout my climb using the RAD system when needed.
Single rope technique (SRT)has been approved in competition but single line descent has not. Therefore I climb double rope technique (DRT) throughout competition.
