The Tyrolean area known as Zillertal is an alpine jewel. New devellopment of all level rock climbing areas, on red label granit, next to historic classic mountaineering, are the perfect spot for a climbing festival. Next summer the Petzl Roctrip will set it's base camp in Mayrhofen from July 23 to 26.

The Petzl RocTrip is a unique gathering of climbers with a pro contest in a new Ultimate Spot, an all-around "boulder and freeclimbing rally", movie night, photo contest and climber culture highlife moments. The previous editions happened in Red River Gorge (USA), Gorges du Tarn (France), Kalymnos (Greece), Squamish (Canada)...

The Petzl RocTrip is hosted by the City of Mayrhofen, in collaboration with the Nature Park of Zillertal, the Austrian Alpine Club, and the local climbing community. Petzl RocTrip is co-sponsored by Marmot and Adidas Eyewear.
