FAQ:

• For a user of over 100 Kg, is the anticipated clearance greater than that normally used?

The clearance anticipated in the Instructions For Use for the absorbers is based on a complete tearing of the absorber (worst case scenario). So it is the same for 100 kg or 140 kg workers.

Attention when using an absorber on the GRILLON lifeline: the clearance for the absorber is added to the sag in the lifeline in case of a fall. (See example of the calculation in the GRILLON Instructions For Use, box 6).

• I am less than 100 kg, should I be concerned about the issues addressed in the "Solutions for workers over 100 kg" tool?

• Are ABSORBICA lanyards with MGO connectors covered in the ABSORBICA notices?

• My I'D is marked EN 12841: 100 kg. And yet the "I'D and RIG" page indicates that the I'D is certified and tested for 150 kg?

• Progress capture pullies like the PRO TRAXION do not appear on the online tool - so are they not affected?

• Does the Petzl certificate, which allows a 140 kg worker to use his equipment, constitute a certification?

• The ASAP is always shown with an energy absorber (ASAP'SORBER or ABSORBICA). Yet the Instructions For Use authorize ASAP usage when connected directly to the harness?
