Weak go home

Reaching the new 'super crag' above the Spanish town of Oliana the first thing you see is a huge tufa, like a fat drainpipe of poured grey concrete stretching down from the summit. Automatically you see the weakness, finding the link between the ground and the top. You want to get up this cliff and this is the way!

Some Training

News - Premier UK bouldering venue perfect for power endurance training.
Which is a relief as getting outside has been tough this year with constant rain from June onwards. Any route fitness I’d gained drained away even faster than my enthusiasm. The news of a training venue for route climbers comes as a bitter blow for the boulderers who have enjoyed pure power problems for a while and don’t see the point in getting pumped.

Petit cadeau de dame nature quelque part en Chartreuse...

Hier soir 2 amis, mon frère et moi sommes montés faire une petite
ballade nocture en Chartreuse, histoire de tester la résistance de nos
duvets et de faire quelques photos. Et bein, on a pas été déçus... Jugez vous même. Photo de nuit. Dément !!! 6h15, les premières lueurs du jour.

Link - ups: do they count for much?

Not really, but does anything in our sport really make sense? We look for the hardest way up the wall, then try and find the easiest way up it! Link-ups are fun for training, though often make two OK routes into one really good one. Wet or What!

Alexis : the island

Alexis - 22nd of October Yesterday, on the 21st, we arrived in the morning to Trinity Island. We discovered a beautiful landscape. Lots of ice on the Island, glacier running down into the water, dream scenery.
