This January 11-13, climbers from around the country and world will converge at the Ouray Ice Park in Colorado to climb, participate in clinics led by some of the county's best ice climbers, demo the newest, raddest gear, and watch or participate in the mixed-climing competition. Once again, Petzl is proud to support this event, the largest ice festival in North America.

Among the Petzl athletes who will be competing are Caroline George, Emily Harrington (1st place in 2012), Andres Marin (2nd place in 2012), Gord McArthur, Jeff Mercier, and Dave Roetzl. Come out to support them and see them pit their skills against the wild course the Ouray Ice Park's professional ice farmers are creating.

Oh yes, there will be partying, too. Once again, Petzl is teaming up with Arc'teryx to host a baller bash, this time with the theme "Lost In Space." (Dress accordingly.) The festivities begin at 10:30pm at the Ouray Community Center. The first 150 through the doors will get a T-shirt with their $10 entry donation, which goes entirely to support the Ice Park.

Stay tuned for photos and updates from the event. We look forward to seeing you out there!
