July 2011, the first Paraclimbing World Championship is included in the program of the Climbing  World Championship  actually in progress at Arco (It). This new event gathers for the first time ever disabled climbers form 15 countries for the world champion title. The climbers are split up in different categories depending on their level of disability. 

- blind and reduced vision (three categories depending on level of vision)

- amputee – leg

- amputee – arm

From January 23 to 25  the city of Mumbay hosted the 8th edition of Girivihar International Bouldering Competition. Gathering over a hundred competitors  the unique bouldering competition of India moved a step higher. GRIMPday 2009: Rescue professionals with no fear

GRIMPday is an international, multidisciplinary technical rope rescue competition which takes place every October in Namur. The fourth edition was a face-off between 23 teams, from Belgium, France, Great Britain, Switzerland and Germany. The participants were firefighters, soldiers, police officers, rescuers, etc.
