The Borneo project has begun!

With 736 000 km² of land mass, Borneo is the third largest island in the world after Greenland and New Guinea. It's divided between the countries of Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei. The population of the island is about 10 million,  making for a population density of 16 inhabitants/km².

The PANGAEA project is still going strong: after the three expeditions, it might be your turn to get involved in the project. If you are a dynamic and enthusiastic young explorer, register today!

Who can participate?
Anyone between the ages of 15 and 20 years old can apply to be a Young Explorer through September 22.

Under The Pole: a cutting-edge scientific expedition in preparation

This expedition is setting out to research and examine the underwater side of the North Pole icesfloe. The goal is video document this rarely studied aspect of the North Pole that's shrinking each passing year.

If you are between the ages of 13 and 20 years old, interested in helping preserve the environment and want to have a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, the PANGAEA project is for you!

Applications for the next session of the Y.E.P. (Young Explorers Program) are now being accepted. The expedition takes place in October on an Indonesian island.
