The Guizhou province is one of the last areas that has been opened to western tourism in the late eighties. It is also called the province of minorities due to the presence of numerous tribes of different origin that settled here in the past. The area around Anshun is mainly populated by Miao, Yao and Buyi ethnic groups.

The Petzl Roctrip started on Thursday, June 25 in conjuntion with the Natural Games in Millau,France. Athletes from the worlds of climbing, paragliding, mountain biking and kayaking came together to have fun at this huge event.

For the second year in a row, the Petzl Roc Trip has joined forces with the Vibram Natural Games. This multi-sport outdoor event brings together pro and amateur climbers, paragliders, downhill mountain bikers, freestyle kayakers and slackliners to Millau, France.

 

 

After 2 days of resting my leg and hoping for it to heal a little bit it was time to climb. But not only that, it was also the main day of the event -first the "flash rally" and then the big party!

I managed to walk up to the "Motherload" and found it packed with people. I teamede up with Steve and started warming up. The leg felt ok in all moves but highstepping and heelhooking. Ok, that'll do...
