Saturday, March 3rd : French ultra-runner Sébastien Chaigneau won the 123 km, 5500m vertical gain race on Gran Canaria Island (Spain), establishing a new 12h54mn course record. Brazilian Fernanda Maciel led the women’s category finishing in 15h02mn.

For this 65th edition, runners will be racing throught the forests of Finspång, in Östergötland, in southeastern Sweden. This popular race is special in that it takes place entirely at night: the first runner begins at 10pm, followed by the other nine relay team members, for a total race distance of 110 kilometers.
