Lanyard with energy absorber for the ASAP mobile fall arrester
- Designed to connect the ASAP mobile fall arrester to a harness
- The energy generated from a fall is absorbed by the tearing of specific stitching
- Ends equipped with STRING to hold the connector in position and protect the webbing from abrasion
- Available in two lengths, to get the desired distance from the safety rope, to reach the best compromise between distance from the rope and height of the fall:
- ASAP’SORBER (L71 20): 20 cm (necessary clearance 3.15 m, weight 60 g)
- ASAP’SORBER (L71 40): 40 cm (necessary clearance 3.50 m, weight 100 g)

Using the ASAP on an inclined surface
The ASAP works on vertical or angled ropes. In case of a fall or a slide, the ASAP will immediatly lock itself onto the rope to stop the fall, even if the user intervenes, for example by grabbing it.

ASAP - Fall simulation EN353-2 standard
Even after catching a fall of a 100kg (~220 lb) mass, the ASAP doesn't damage the rope.
