From surgery to climbing

It's already been two months since I had my knee surgery…
After some good physiotherapy near my home in Bourg St Maurice, I came to a special rehabilitation center for sports athletes in Capbreton, on the west coast of France.
At the moment that I write this post, I'm still here, chilling on my balcony in the sun, facing the Ocean.
But, despite how it sounds, it's not all holidays here…

For what seems forever will this thaw ever come to an end?
After waiting with excitement for the last couple of months for the guys to arrive, all seems to be falling apart... Wanting so much to show people how good Scottish winter climbing can be things are off to a slow wet start.

Scottish Ice Trip - Day 1&2

February 24th. 3.45am. A bunch of Petzl team members are gathered at the headquarters to get to Geneva airport.
An hour and half later, we meet up with the rest of the crew.
Its now Ueli Steck, Martial Dumas, Yann Mimet, Mathieu Maynadier, Anthony Lamiche, Aljaz Anderle as well as Petzl Staff Erwan Le Lann, Loïc Tonnot and Cameraman Guillaume Broust. Bertrand Delapierre, another cameraman came from Chamonix to put his filming skills into what should be another interesting Petzl movie. Final destination towards Inverness, Scotland.

EVOLUTION TOUR : Grosser Karnerval

Hello everyone, Friday, I go back to the Plum family who helped me with small
tears to the eyes. Early Johana crying when I announced my departure.
It's too cute and it's heart-wrenching. Maybe this trip I will discover
buried emotions. I loose ballast and so much better. I just found a key
that will allow me to future beautiful things. I know what I mean.

Yesterday evening, I said me that I enjoy a sleep in a bed that gives me

sleep peacefully.
