Women's harnesses

Petzl now offers two harnesses specifically designed for women. The women’s harnesses are unique in three ways:

• Distance between waistbelt and leg loops: we've increased the rise in our women's harness for a better fit.

Clearly identified green belay loop
The green color and the marking draw attention to the point where the belay device/descender must be connected. It’s the strongest part of the harness.
Reinforced tie-in points
When climbing, falling and hanging, the tie-in points undergo a great deal of wear from the rope rubbing. These areas are reinforced to increase durability.

DoubleBack buckles
The DoubleBack buckle is patented by Petzl. The webbing is always threaded through the buckle. Adjustments can be made with one hand. The buckles lock automatically. The buckle can be completely undone if necessary (to put the harness on when wearing skis, for example).

Rigid front gear loops
They help keep quickdraws, etc. away from the body. Their inclined design helps make gear easily accessible at all times.

Flexible rear equipment loops
Reduces pressure points when wearing a backpack.
 

CARITOOL slots
The waistbelt is designed with retainers that accept the modular CARITOOL tool holder.

Trail line loop
Clip a trail line or chalk bag to the rear trail line loop.
 

Detachable elastic leg loop straps
To partially detach the leg loops, the rear elastic straps can be easily unhooked.
