We’re climbing a variation of the 1998 Austrian route. The summit of Mont Paget looks like a bunch of mushrooms sculpted from the snow by the powerful winds. We’re looking down on a sea of clouds with a few peaks poking through. Directly to the south, we can visualize Antarctica and Queen Maud Land...
