Hello Dim, Technically, it is possible to use the ASAP self belaying but there are precautions to be taken, besides that given for this activity: - It is not possible to take a rest on the device - There is no releasing possibility (rope clamp devices and system have to be anticipated) - Attention clearance (distance of blockage may vary) - The use is not described in the technical notice as it is big, expensive and not adapted In any circumstances, the ASAP can be used fixed to the anchor.
