I bought the affected model of Grigri2 online at bananafingers.com and I live in Malaysia.
I contacted Petzl America as per advised.
You then asked me to contact my nearest distributor in Singapore. I spoke to them and they have refused to exchange the Grigri2 for me citing the fact that I did not purchase it from them and their priority is for exchange for customers who did purchase it from them.
I am royally annoyed about this and I would like a replacement at no cost to me and as soon as possible.
