We use two photometric values to describe our beam of light.
1 - The first one, the luminous flux is the total quantity of light emitted in every direction from a source of light. Luminous flux is expressed in lumens (lm).
2 - The second one is the intensity (in candela, cd) to describe the light power on axis.
This unit is unfamiliar for most people so we had chosen to speak on distances (in meters) using the full moon as reference.
photometric values
Dear
We use two photometric values to describe our beam of light.
1 - The first one, the luminous flux is the total quantity of light emitted in every direction from a source of light. Luminous flux is expressed in lumens (lm).
2 - The second one is the intensity (in candela, cd) to describe the light power on axis.
This unit is unfamiliar for most people so we had chosen to speak on distances (in meters) using the full moon as reference.
Best regards,
