The Raid Rescue was created in 2011 as a different type of event for rescue and emergency professionals in South America, a forum allowing them to share their expertise, collective strategies, and their experience for intervention and rescue in difficult-to-access environments.

Rope access workers are experts at height, true professionals above the void, skilled specialists in difficult to access and confined spaces. They must master techniques for access and rope work. Certification, such as the CQP in France (Certificate for Professionally Qualified rope access work), requires a long training period. Rope access workers from all around the world are continuously developing innovative techniques for rope work and fall protection. Their rope access know-how (training, certification, and experience) is only part of the package, and would be of little use if they were not already skilled in the more traditional professions (masonry, plumbing, welding, painting, windows…).

To relive the highlights of Petzl RocTrip Argentina 2012, Sam Bié and Guillaume Vallot have decided to share some of their best shots. An exclusive selection of thirty candid photos, with memorable ascents from the event, transports us to Piedra Parada's very unique setting.

Petzl, founder of the RocTrip, and the FFCAM (French Alpine Club), historical partner of the event, along with the Causses-Cévennes section of the club as well as Couleur Caillou (FFME), are proud to announce a new edition of this friendly and participative climbing get-together. More than 500 climbers are expected migrate to the Les Causses limestone plateaus of this exceptional and singular region.

From 1945 to 2013, Sweden has hosted the legendary international orienteering race, 10MILA.
This year, take a look at video clips of the race from 1963 to 2013! 

"Fly'n'Roll" is a non-motorized trip around the world on foot, by bike, and by sailboat hitchhiking. Olivier Peyre left Grenoble in 2008. Joined later on by Nadège Perrot, they will finish their circumnavigation of the globe in 2016, completing the adventure of a lifetime.

A race course run in the opposite direction to keep runners healthy; an earlier date this year to protect local flora; and a gaggle of high-level runners at the starting line for this exceptional race. This year, the second edition of the Ultra Trail Mt. Fuji® (UTMF®) was marked by the presence of well-known runners and once again provided more than a few unforgettable moments.

Petzl is conducting a study in order to better adapt its products to different user body types. If you use harnesses, helmets, or head lamps, we cordially invite you to participate in this study. The results will contribute to new product development.
