check last week to see if our Grigri 2 was in the recall and found that it was. I then contacted our distributor here in Singapore. I was informed that the stocks were arriving late last week.
Upon going down to the shop to exchange our GriGri 2 today, I was subsequently told that the stock would not be arriving for another TWO Week!!! We are off to Krabi on Saturday for a big climbing trip and now will have to do so without our GriGgri. Very disappointed.
How long should it take to get these replacement stocks out to the distributors?
Should these stock not already be sent out via express post to get there promptly?

i would like to know when exactly will the Gri Gri 2 replacement will start in Greece. the last information i had stated that every device will have been replaced until July 10th at the latest, which means some time this week. Is this going to happen or has the programming changed????

Thank you Petzl for the professional and excellent way this recall has been handled. The return and replacement process could not have been smoother. 10 days (including the 4th of July holiday) after my initial email contact with Petzl, I had my 2 new replacement GriGri2's in my hand. Impressive to say the least.
That's correct. Just print out the return label and tape it to a box containing your recalled GRIGRI 2. The return label has a number on it that is linked to information we have on your case. That number will let us see your information, so we can send a new GRIGRI 2 to you.

I got an email on July 7th that my replacement got shipped. Until now, I have not received the replacement. How long should it normally take to get it replaced?
