Is there enough metal in the spike of Aztar axes (about 10 years old) to add the new Quark griprest? The Quark seems to have a little more metal forward of the gear hole than the Aztar. I would like to be sure before I buy some and start carving on the grip. Also how do I order some? I've seen then in stores (they usually only have one on hand) but I don't see them as a seperate item in your on-line cataloge. I love my Aztars, but am doing more lead climbing, and the griprest would make them more secure when climbing leashless. Thanks.
