Harnesses

The semi-rigid, extra-wide waistbelt ensures excellent support for the user. It is also sculpted and lined with foam padding for improved comfort when suspended.

Gated attachment points

The gated attachment points facilitate connection of a ZILLON or MICROFLIP lanyard. They also allow installation of several attachment bridges (adjustable or fixed), as well as accessories like RING attachment rings or SWIVELs, directly on the attachment bridge.

Easy to don

The leg loops of SEQUOIA harnesses are equipped with FAST/FAST LT automatic buckles that facilitate donning the harness with feet on the ground or with large footwear, without loss of adjustment, even when wearing gloves.

The SEQUOIA SRT features a ventral attachment point for installing a ZIGZAG mechanical Prusik with the CHICANE and KNEE ASCENT accessories.

For doubled rope ascent techniques

The SEQUOIA harness waistbelt is equipped with a FAST automatic buckle for quick and simple opening and closing, without loss of adjustment, even while wearing gloves.

Equipment loops and retainers

AVAO harnesses are equipped with six equipment loops on the sides and at the rear of the waistbelt. They are shaped to facilitate clipping carabiners. Each harness also has retainers designed for the CARITOOL tool holder and the TOOLBAG pouch.

Stowage for lanyard connectors

The harnesses have a stowage system for the MGO connectors on fall arrest lanyards on each shoulder strap. In case of a fall, this system releases the MGO connector and allows the absorber to be deployed.

Easy to adjust

The AVAO harnesses can be adjusted at the waistbelt and shoulder straps. These adjustment points are equipped with self-locking DoubleBack buckles. These do not require re-threading to be locked: the harness adjusts easily in seconds.

Available in easier donning version

To facilitate donning the harness with both feet on the ground or with large footwear, AVAO harnesses are also available with FAST LT automatic buckles on the leg loops. Adjusted once and for all, these buckles open and close quickly and easily: the harness can be put on without re-adjusting the buckles.

The gated attachment point allows connection of:

• a CROLL ventral rope clamp on the ventral point for greater efficiency on rope ascents
• a PROGRESS lanyard directly to the ventral attachment point
• a PODIUM seat on the axle of the attachment point, allowing the load to be supported directly by the descender, while guaranteeing mobility at the ventral attachment point

The waistbelt and the leg loops of ASTRO harnesses are semi-rigid and wide in order to limit pressure points and ensure effective support. These two zones are sculpted and lined with breathable foam padding for optimal comfort in suspension and good ventilation. This construction also facilitates harness donning.

The waistbelt and shoulder straps are equipped with self-locking DOUBLEBACK/DOUBLEBACK PLUS buckles for quick and easy adjustment.

VOLT and VOLT WIND harnesses are very quick to don. The waistbelt and leg loops are equipped with FAST LT PLUS/FAST LT automatic buckles, allowing the harness to be easily donned while keeping both feet on the ground.

Ventral attachment point suitable for vertical progression on a rail or cable

The LADDER CLIMB attachment point allows for ventral attachment of the fall-arrest trolley, which distributes the load on the waistbelt and thus ensures optimal comfort. In the event of a fall, the attachment point automatically moves upward to a sternal position to ensure a vertical post-fall body position (only on European versions).

Easy to Fasten and Unfasten Harness

The FAST LT PLUS sternal automatic buckle allows the harness to be fastened and unfastened quickly and easily without loss of adjustment, even with gloves. The buckle’s locking system limits the risk of accidental unfastening.

Ready Access to Tools

The equipment loops simplify tool organization, and the slots allow a TOOLBAG pouch to be added.

Storage for Lanyard Connectors

Textile Sternal Attachment Point

Lightweight and abrasion-resistant, the textile sternal attachment point allows attachment of a fall-arrest system.

European Version

Made of anodized aluminum for high strength, the dorsal attachment point allows attachment of a fall-arrest system.

International Version

The harnesses have a metal dorsal attachment point that allows attachment of a fall-arrest system, and a textile dorsal attachment point that allows attachment of a self-retracting fall-arrest system.

International Version

The sternal and dorsal attachment points are equipped with fall-arrest indicators: a red tag appears after a fall to indicate that the harness must be retired.
